Our commitment

Brad Hamblen Home Loans is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technology such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, or magnification. Buying or refinancing a home is a major decision, and everyone deserves equal access to the information involved.

Standard we work toward

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a one-time project, and we review the site regularly as content and tools change.

What we have done so far

  • Structured headings in logical order on every page, with a single main heading per page
  • Descriptive link and button text throughout the site, in place of generic labels like “Learn More” or “click here”
  • Accessible names on calculator and form inputs for assistive technology
  • Landmark regions (including a main content region) and a skip-to-content link on every page
  • Alternative text on images
  • An accessibility toolbar (bottom of the screen) offering adjustments such as larger text and higher contrast

Known limitations

Some parts of the site rely on third-party tools — including the mortgage calculators, the loan application portal, and embedded maps and review widgets — whose accessibility we do not fully control. We are working within those vendors’ capabilities and continue to improve what is within our control. Manual testing with screen readers and keyboard-only navigation is ongoing, and we do not claim full conformance until that testing is complete.
